About Us

Salveo Care is a family-run care home provider for the elderly. Our primary aim is to create a ‘home from home’ for our residents, by providing exceptional care in a warm, friendly environment, whilst our staff enable a fulfilling and meaningful life for our residents by promoting their independence and treating each individual with the utmost respect.

Salveo Care was founded in 2010 by husband and wife, Peter and Kate Evans, whose backgrounds are in nursing, public service and business. Since then, we have completely refurbished and re-modernised three care homes into a comfortable, welcoming and functional spaces for our residents to enjoy, and worked hard to make them a wonderful place to work.

Currently, Salveo Care operate Cherry Tree House and we have recently acquired land in Wendover with plans to build a brand-new, purpose-built care home to serve our local community.

Forming strong relationships with residents, friends and relatives is extremely important to us, from the initial contact and all the way through the residents’ stay with us. Our friendly Management Team can assist you with your initial enquiries, arrange a show around the home, and will offer continued support for the duration of your stay.

As a care home provider, our aim is to provide the best care and support for our residents and their loved ones, as well as giving staff a safe and enjoyable place to work as we believe that this is how you get the best outcomes.

Our team is made up of experienced managers and caring, compassionate staff. We follow safe, value-based recruitment methods because we believe that the most important factors when recruiting new staff is that they share the same values as us and that our residents are in safe hands.

We strive to treat our staff well by implementing competitive rates of pay, encouraging training and development, and celebrating each individual’s successes. We have many long standing and loyal members of staff who are proud to work for Salveo Care. We believe that if we look after our staff, they will look after our residents.

Grace Evans

Managing Director

Joining Salveo Care in 2019 for the second time, I oversaw the transformation of our HR and operational functions. Now, 4 years on, I am the CQC nominated individual for Salveo Care; a responsibility I take very seriously and I vow to do everything in my power to keep our residents safe and happy whilst in our care. With a degree in psychology and a passion for wellbeing, I love trying to find new ways of improving our employees' life at work, and also the quality of life for our residents. I'm determined to get the best out of my team and work together to make a genuine impact on individuals and the care sector as a whole, in particular focusing on the experience of elderly people. In my personal and professional life, I am open-minded and will take every opportunity to learn something new. I enjoy listening to podcasts, watching documentaries and speaking to different people - human behaviour fascinates me! Aside from this, I love being a mum and I am happiest when hosting and creating a comfortable home for my family and friends to enjoy.

Jade Sinclair

Operations Manager

Working in care isn't just a job, it's a profession and lifestyle that I believe you should be whole-heartedly committed to. I have worked in care homes since 2008, and have been fortunate enough to work with independent and corporate care providers over the years, alongside knowledgeable professionals who have enabled me to learn and progress in my own career. Alongside facilitating the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care, I am passionate about good management, empowering the people I work with and supporting staff with their own career development. I have worked with Salveo Care since 2018 and the reason I love working here is because our core values, and sincerity in all that we do, is what I feel the older generation deserves. When I'm not at work you'll either find me on the side-lines watching my son play football, or I'll be busying myself around the house, finding something to clean and organise!

Grace Russell

HR & Accounts Coordinator

I have been with Salveo Care for 3 years, working my way up through the administration, HR and finance departments. After working in a corporate retail environments for many years, I wanted to work for a company that was actually making a difference to peoples lives, and do a job that aligned with my own values and felt more rewarding. Even though I'm based in our Head Office, I love to help out in the home, arranging and delivering various activities for our residents. Outside of work, I am a mum to a beautiful little girl and I enjoy nothing more than spending time with her. Otherwise, you'll probably find me out and about enjoying a bottomless brunch!

Abi Smith

Operational Support Manager

I have worked in the Health & Social Care sector for over 12 years, supporting adult service users with a variety of care needs, such as elderly care, mental health and addiction. Care is my true passion, and if you know me, you'll know that I care for every resident I meet as if they were my own family. I worked for Salveo Care for a year in 2019, and returned in 2022 to join the Operations team, to help implement changes, support managers and take the quality of care to the next level. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, walking my dog and exploring new places.

Ray Hall

Finance Manager

I have worked in finance for many years, overseeing accounts and payroll, including reporting and forecasting. My aim is to work with senior managers to give a clear picture of where we are and likely scenarios as to where we are heading. I have worked with Salveo Care for almost 2 years and I am happy to be working for a family firm, with a friendly and professional team. When I'm not up to my eyeballs in numbers, I like to spend my free time riding my motorbike, exploring the world; especially travelling around Europe, enjoying the culture and cuisine of different places.
